This essential oil lured me in with it’s magical (not really) qualities. It provided the experience I needed to thrust me into the world of alternative medicine. We use it in our family for the occasional burns, bug bites, bee stings, cuts, sleeping, and seasonal issues. It supports to nervous system (and many others). It is extremely versatile and one to definitely have in your possession…at all times.
I know it can be used for countless issues, but truthfully we eat it more than anything. We LOVE it in greek yogurt! A drop or two in a bowl of yogurt brings it to life. Seriously, you need to try it. Some of my family likes to drink it in their water. It tastes slightly different than a lemon wedge because it comes from the rind of the lemon, not the flesh. I do also use it with honey for the occasional sore throat and in a spray bottle of water to clean my stainless steel. It’s a wonderful cleanser that I can’t live without. We also diffuse it regularly.
We must have bad breath☺ We LOVE to put this one in our mouths. It is SO strong, but provides wonderful benefit. It freshens breath, oxygenates the blood, helps with focus, gives energy, helps with the occasional headache and those anxious feelings associated with daily life. I love to add it to a spray bottle of water and spray into the air. It smells SO good! Remember that unlike a peppermint spray or candy or gum, there is no sugar in it, so it tastes a bit different than you might expect. It truly tastes better!
Besides hearing of this oil in the Christmas story, I had no idea what Frankincense was or did until 3 years ago. It is considered the King of the oils…and for good reason! When added to any oil, it intensifies the properties of that oil to make it stronger and more powerful. So…I add it to almost everything. While pricey, I feel it is one of the best investments and highly recommend it!
(Cinnamon, Clove, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Wild Orange)
We rub a few drops of this oil onto our children’s feet every night before bed. These powerhouse oils enter the cells of the body and support the Immune System. We also take it in the form of a throat lozenge and a soft gel. I clean with the household cleaner made with this product, diffuse it because it smells so much like Christmas ☺, and it sanitizes the air. I make a hand sanitizer with it to keep in my purse and car at all times. It is such a wonderful oil that I can’t and won’t live without.
(Ginger, Fennel, Coriander, Peppermint, Tarragon, Anise and Caraway)
This one is in my purse for a reason. If you or your child has ever had the occasional stomachache, this is the oil for you. It stops so many things in its track. Each of my kids has it in a roller bottle in their school bag. We truly do not go anywhere without it. It’s imperative for anything that gives us nervous energy as it helps maintain a healthy gastrointestinal tract. Rub some of this right on your stomach or take the soft gel internally. While I hate the smell of anise and fennel, they certainly carry a punch in knocking out the occasional digestive issue!
(Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Blue Tansy, German Chamomile, Helichrysum and Osmanthus)
We are a family of soccer players and one dancer. We go through a LOT of this oil. It also comes in a lotion form. We regularly use it for our occasional bumps, bruises, body aches and everything else that needs soothing. It does this with naturally cooling and soothing properties. From being an athlete to sitting at a desk all day, this oil will make a huge difference in your life and is worth every penny! It smells wonderful, too.
